Nominees for the 2017 Nigerian Entertainment Awards otherwise known as NEA Awards has been announced. Notable among the nominees are regular Ghanaian nominees Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Efya, Becca, DJ Mensah and DJ Vyrusky. Nominated for the Best Africa Male category, Sarkodie battles country fellow Stonebwoy, Sauti Sol, Cassper Nyovest, Diamond Platnumz, Eddie Kenzo, Nasty C and Toofan. This is not the first time the CEO of SarkCess Music has been nominated for the African Male Artist (Non Nigerian/Africa) category . He secured nominations in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He won the award in 2012 after beating stiff competition.
