Stonebwoy And Mugeez Accused By Don Wan

Mohammed Kumi better known as Don Wan isn’t happy with the turnout of events after getting into a deal with Stonebwoy and Mugeez. In narrating his ordeal, he said he contacted Mugeez for a feature on his song and that begun his nightmare of his huge sums invested into nothing.
Involvement with Mugeez
From last year June, according to Don, he called Mugeez for a feature and Mugeez charged a fee of GHC8000 but upon negotiations they agreed on GHC4000. Thus he fulfilled his part of the song together with its beat and sent it over to Don to complete. Upon Don’s completion he demanded they went to the studio to record and that was when Mugeez requested for Wizkid to be put on the song for a hit. When he heard this, he asked of Wizkid’s charge and Mugeez stated GHC 5000 which he paid.
With GHC9000 gone already, Mugeez came back to say Kill Beatz who would produce the song was charging GHC3000 and again he paid. All this while, recording at the studio hadn’t been done but Don kept paying any amount that he was told to pay. When Kill Beatz`s payment was done, Mugeez came up again demanding they shot a video which goes out for GHC6000; he paid. Another GHC2000 was released to Mugeez for location of the video shoot and another GHC4000 since Mugeez said the video would be shot in Nigeria thus needed that amount for tickets summing up to GHC24,000.
“Mugeez said after he’s gone to the studio to record, he will forward it to the engineer to be mixed then taken to the video director for the video to be shot. This was in June 2016 after he promised it will be ready on the 10th of October. I didn’t want any artiste on the song which was even to be an audio but he asked for another artiste and a video as well,” Don Wan put across.
After that, Don approached Mugeez earlier this year to go have the song recorded in the studio but was told at the moment both Wizkid and Kill Beatz were out of the country. So what next could be done; and that was when Stonebwoy appeared in the scene.
Mugeez, Don said, told him Stonebwoy was in a difficult situation and therefore needed to sell off two of his songs. In getting one of Stone’s songs and having it mixed by the producer it amounted to GHC7000. He again demanded for a GHC1000 with GHC500 going out to Stonebwoy for a post on Facebook. After all this was done, Don took his bought song, recorded it with Kindee and released it.
The song has received a lot of praise which compelled him to shoot a video for it so he got back to Mugeez. Chancing on him, Don reminded him of theirs but Mugeez told him Wizkid was ready but Kill Beatz was still not available so he should go ahead and shoot the video with Stonebwoy for his new release which he agreed as Mugeez gave him a number to talk to Stonebwoy directly.
Stonebwoy
Stonebwoy upon hearing what he was in for said he needed no disrespect as he wasn’t aware of any negotiations between Don and Mugeez but as the conversation went on he demanded GHC3000 just to appear on set for the video shoot and this again Don paid. Stone came again to say the video director needed GHC4000 but will need a GHC100 to book everything which Don paid.
With GHC71000 paid, Stonebwoy according to Don, kept postponing the shoot and feeling disappointed, Don confronted him. “I told him, if he wouldn’t shoot the video, he should just tell me. I will bless the money and dash it to him then he said Mugeez didn’t give him the GHC8000 charged so he is confused; that notwithstanding he was going to shoot the video because he wanted no problems.”
Moving on, Don said he never heard of Stonebwoy again but when he did, Stone describing himself as a straightforward person, told Don point blank that he wasn’t going to shoot the video or do anything else.
Black Cedi and Criss Waddle
“During the video shoot with Stonebwoy I contacted Black Cedi to let him know we were at the location Stonebwoy wanted us to be but his artiste hasn’t showed up. There he sent a voice not asking why I had to talk to him while I was dealing with Mugeez and Stonebwoy; I should just go ahead and deal with them. From there, I called Criss Waddle to let him know I’ve paid this money to Mugeez but I haven’t heard from him but he said Mugeez had been scammed. If he has been scammed how did I get his voice and beat with Kill Beatz calling me for money? Since then I haven’t heard from them till now.” He disclosed.
In Conclusion
As it stands now, Don does not want to have anything to do with Mugeez but has a feeling maybe he didn’t go to see a man these artistes compelled him to go see is the reason behind what they are doing. He said Mugeez also wanted him to be a part of the R2bees gang but he refused and looking at these factors, he believes is what has made the two drill him that way.
Don will accept to shoot his video with Stonebwoy if he agrees to but with Mugeez he wants nothing to do with him if not they should both return his money to him. He says he has two witnesses to attest to his claims and as a strong person; he is not ready to give up this fight until his money has returned to him.
